grey14me Posted December 22, 2015 Share Posted December 22, 2015 I don't think Stephanie posted much lately, but I wanted her friends who aren't on Facebook to know that she passed away Sunday night. She was mom to greyhounds, Brady, Maddi, Penny, Dexter, Jack and Cooper. She loved her dogs fiercely. She and her husband, Steve, recently had an amazing 12th birthday party for Maddi Steve and all of her friends will miss her terribly. The kindest, sweetest woman I've ever met. She's with her mom again, and her pain is gone. But so much pain left for us. Rest well Step. I will miss you more than I have words to express. I will miss Stephanie and our conversations about the dogs, migraines and everything else that pissed both of us off. She was a spitfire and opinionated...things about her I loved. She is now with her mom, whom she missed very much. I hope there's a Disneyland wherever she is. I feel I owe Zuri's life in part to her for posting about her ordeal with Penny when she got loose and suffered heat stroke. It was only because I had read that recently that I recognized signs in Zuri and more importantly knew what to do. Instead of ending up with full on heat stroke I was able to bring his temp right down and he was okay. He didn't even need vet care. That seems so inconsequential in light of this, but I was always thankful to her for that. My condolences to her family and friends and those GTers who knew her well.
