He was AMAZED at how good I healed (of course I healed good. I'm Freddy). He told my secretary Christine (who's now my cook, chauffeur and laundry lady too) that I could have a little more exercise so I got to be off leash in the yard (yes, it is all fenced in). She wouldn't let me play with all my new greyhound friends in the snow (bah humbug) but I had some fun by myself. I saw a squirrel, tried to catch snowflakes, did some digging in the snow and I was all ready to fly down my runway ramp to do some serious zoomies, but the party pooper (yup, you got it...Christine), wouldn't let me.Your friend,Freddy PS: Christine wants me to ask if you want to be taken off my updates list. Here's the update: Hey everybody,Freddy wants to show off and let you see that he can run and hop. He's such a happy fellow and doing great. It's amazing how far he's come since that phone call 2 months ago where we didn't know if he'd live, let alone have a 2nd chance to run on all 4 legs. It only gives me the HTML and not the BB Code... I'll work on it...> Anyway, here's the message that came with it: Hi everybody, I hope you can watch movies on your computer. If you can, you'll see me run and play!! I love to chase stuffies (I want to eat them too but that party pooper Christine won't let me). Christine & I go out early every morning and play fetch. My legs are getting stronger and my muscles are getting bigger. I go for 3-4 walks a week now and am sniffing and leaving pee-mail for all the my other doggie friends in the neighborhood. We've been staying pretty close to home because I needed to have some shots (they're called vaccines) but now I've had them so Christine and I are going to go to some new places for me to see different stuff. I love going for car rides. I take all the blankets and cushions and push them into a big pile to lay right on top. That's all for now. Love, Freddy PS: Christine told me the Easter Bunny is coming.... I am looking for him every day. Might be a good snack. Sheesh, good help is hard to find.I know you all thought I was going to be going to live with someone else but I'm still here with Christine. It's kind of fun. When Christine's out doing stuff with other greyhounds and her husband isn't paying attention I get to chew things up. Today was the best. I chewed up the brim of his favorite hat. I like him. I ate his hat. What's the big deal?Have any of you heard of GIG...something about greyhounds on battlefields in Gettysburg, PA? Weird why anyone would want to do that, but Christine thought she may take me if any of my friends are going to be there. I'm not going onto any battlefield but will come to visit. Will you be there?
