thehouseofearl Posted August 29, 2012 Share Posted August 29, 2012 Our big boy Dante, who's racing name was Dante's Illusion, has gone to the bridge. Dante was my Big Guy, Big Goofy boy, Dufus and my Funny Car. His rear legs just didn't want to work anymore and his cancer was consuming him. I held his head as he crossed and told him how much I love him and will miss him. His daddy, Madison and little Cordal were all there touching and petting him, giving him all the love we could Dante went very quickly and without pain. Dante came home with us September 23, 2007 very shortly after our first grey Earl went to the bridge. Jen (Jiffer) sent me these photos and he captured my heart. Dante LOVED car rides - I believe that was his very favorite thing in the whole world. He didn't care where you were going. He made the trip to Dewey Beach, Deleware for the last 4 years.
