KF_in_Georgia Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 You're probably thinking osteo, and of course it's a possibility. But the "body twisted" symptom doesn't go with osteo, so don't panic. I think you said he's limping on one leg; but that could still be a spinal or arthritic issue, so that holding his body a bit twisted while putting one leg down oddly is less painful than straightening out and walking normally. When I read your description I felt like I was re-living our ordeal. I thought the worst too, luckily for us it turned out to be an irritated disk and arthritis. We will be thinking of you both and hoping it's nothing too serious.
