mom2four Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I am not often in the Remembrance section as we knew our Jamey would someday soon be listed here. Today is that day. Jamey passed away at 10:10 last evening, it was very peaceful. He was ready for it, and showed that to us clearly. On Friday Jamey started to decline, and he slept most of the day on Saturday. Yesterday morning it was quite hard to get him outside to go bathroom. Once inside he laid down on his comfy bed in the living room and stayed there until the evening. Yesterday morning Michael and I decided that Sept 19 would be the day that we'd send him on to the Rainbow Bridge. Jamey, being Jamey, did things his way. He declined rapidly last evening and we brought him to the E-vet where he was sent to the Rainbow bridge. It was his time, he was ready for it. We love you Jamey! He fought a brave battle and made 27mths post Osteo dx which I believe it quite a feat. He is a hero in my books and gave us hope for Charlie. I just cannot believe he is gone.
