montgomery2524 Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Our Sugar Bear, Sugar Beans, Sugar Butt, Silly girl is gone. It is so hard to post this because it makes it real. Sugar came to us at 12 yrs of age. She was a little girl at 45 lbs. She ran around as if she were 4 yrs. Jumping off the deck and running so hard in the back yard that she would go one way and her pearls another. She went with us to Sandy Paws and was the oldest greyhound there. We were hoping she would make it to Mountain Hounds this year. She had never been as she always stayed with her sitter. But it was not to be. She was diagnosed in April with lymphoma. We started her on prednisone but it was not to be. She went to the bridge May 3rd and it just isn't the same around here. The others are as demanding at meal times but nothing like Sugar. She had a happy dance for morning and a happy dance for evening. We miss you Sugar but we know you are better now. Here are some pictures of our sweet girl. She loved her pjs, tolerated her hat, and loved her Daddy.
