We lived in Illinois when we adopted Rocket. One night, not long after he arrived I had a meeting to go to and didn't manage to eat dinner before the meeting. I picked up McDonalds on the way home. I was in the house for less than 30 seconds when he went nuts, drooling, coming over to the McD's bag and not leaving me alone. He had never shown any interest in our food up until that point. He obviously knew what fries were. I'm pretty sure that someone at one of the tracks had given them tto him. He was not going to take no for an answer when it came to fries. So he got some. After that, I always bought a Large size because I knew I was going to have to share them. Also, my legs would be covered in drool because he would sit as close to me as he could when I had fries.
