Guest madredhare Posted February 22, 2013 Share Posted February 22, 2013 It is with very heavy heart that I helped my Tom Sawyer to the bridge on Monday, February 18th. He developed a limp over the past week and it had gotten worse over the weekend. The x-rays showed what I knew in my heart. The greyhound world lost another beautiful soul to that bastard osteo. Not only was he was my first greyhound, he was my group's first adoptee. In his older age, he developed the absolute softest fur I have ever felt. I will miss my shy/spooky boy. With his adoption, I have been led to so many wonderful greyhound people and their hounds. He would have been 13 on March 3rd. Run free my boy.
