Guest coastersbysteve Posted June 26, 2012 Share Posted June 26, 2012 Kato is being moved from Town and Country to Ohio State tomorrow morning. He has had low platelets for the last few months. Early last week his right front leg started swelling. We took him in Thursday afternoon, he ended up staying. They could find nothing wrong, we seriously think that it was a spider bite. On top of all this he started experiencing stomach issues and will not eat. His leg is a mess, skin splitting open & falling off. Needless to say, he is not improving. She is going to call me later with updates. Kato has always been one of my favorites, so I am praying for a good outcome for him. Someone mentioned pred, I know he has been on pred for a couple months now, which is one reason he is at OSU, pred is not bringing his platelet count up.
