Not only are you mourning losing him so unexpectedly, but you're mourning the life you dreamed of having together. I'm so, so sorry you lost your precious little guy. It seems as though everything came crashing down before we ever even got started. Thank you everyone for your kind words. Take solace in that he did not suffer when he passed, I know it helped me in some small way knowing that. And yes, he was a very special boy. Perfect in every way. So often it seems that the most special dogs that can't stay very long find the most special people who have enough love to share in their brief stay. I would bet Atari will send you a hound he has picked especially for you. So much love-he will be with you always. His agility run was beautiful.
