Guest dee Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 My last greyhound, Jackson had a nasal tumor which metastisized to his brain and I worried so about knowing when the time was right to help him to the bridge. The morning I heard him having difficulty breathing did it. He was still able to walk slowly and eat but watching him struggle for breathe compelled us to help him. To us not breathing easily was the ultimate in suffering and we helped him peacefully go to sleep in our arms. He deserved that.
