Walliered Posted April 23, 2012 Author Share Posted April 23, 2012 Thank you everyone. He had been hurting on and off all day and 1/2 of last night. He did not eat anything all day and drank only a little. Right before the vet came he wanted to go outside and that is where she gave him the injections. The only problem I had with everything was he was a little afraid of her (she was the on call vet). But I knew he had been through hell with the IBD and felt like this was getting worse by the hour. Amputation may have prolonged the cancer for a while, but the hell he would have had to go through for just a few more months on this earth and still having the IBD very severely was just not what I wanted for him.
