heartdogs Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 I had to her go this morning. Fern (3-16-03 to 6-21-11)was one of the sweetest tiny black girls I've ever seen. She was also the quietest dog, didn't bark or roo & only cried if someone stepped on her. She came to TX for breeding but never came in heat so her owner in FL asked me if my group would take her to adopt out. She came in to my home & never left. A couple of years ago she had a stroke but recovered fairly well, as long as she could circle to the left & run. She had been going downhill for a while & Sat she got so unsteady that standing was a problem & some housemates tried to attack her. I took 2 other old girls from the same breeder & they were upset to see Fern leave as they knew what was going to happen. I know she is in a better place now & not passing blood like had happened Sat night & Sunday. Run free sweet girl & remember we love you.
