She fought it since christmas, tolerated the pred until three weeks ago, and lost a lot of muscle tone in her back end, became very wobbly. She tried. Her spirit was willing but her body failed her. Vet came to the house and helped her along at 8:45. Just there long enough for the kennel fence to be replaced. She was so very scared that she stood there and peed all over herself. I saw the look on your mom's face. I told Martha on the way back to our house "She's not going anywhere". Martha said no, she was just going to be a foster. Well, she stayed. She had the perfect home with the perfect family.
