Jenny was bred and raised by my Dad, she had a short racing career and when we retired her she went along with her sister Katie to live with one of our family. She was a diva, a complete snob!. When Katie passed away she missed her terribly but just plodded on. She wasn't too sure about Maddison and would sometimes growl, although she couldnt bare any teeth as she only had 2 left!. I had a call this morning from Jennys Mom asking me to come over quickly, as something had happend and the emergency vet was on his way. When I got there Jenny was so confused and snapping at us, her whole back end had gone and she was unable to stand. We tried to comfort her, and she settled down slightly. Jenny started to fade, and by the time the e-vet got here she was barely with us. E-vet thinks she had a massive stroke. Celia (Jennys Mom) took the desicion to let her little girl go. I was asked to stay with her while she crossed, and my heart broke as I watched our old lady go. From cuddling her as she was brought into the world...to watching her goto the bridge.
