  1. Yes, I think it did. It was a pus-filled thing, just near the rectum. She also had other growths, some on her feet too. Do you have any other pictures? (Sorry I didn't see this til now.)
  2. My CoCo has suspected Degenerative Myelopathy and had odd growths with discharge in her anal region (among other symptoms). At the time, this was thought to be related to the DM.
  3. I'm so very, very sorry. Her momma, Regall Rosario, Agnes, Aggie-Waggie, was lost to OS as well. I hope Mojito found Agnes, and Aggie's first mom, Carla Sage Benoist at the Bridge. I became Aggie's second mom after Carla died. Agnes and I only had 11 months together. She was such a wonderful dog, and Mojito looks a lot like her. <3 I wish I had met Mojito. <3 Hugs to you.
  4. I'm so sorry. You will be missed, little one.
  5. My experience with Trazadone is with elderly humans, and it isn't positive. Falls and foggy brains seem common, but I don't know if it helped with issues it was prescribed for. I remember the last time I gave it to my mom. She was agitated, so I gave her a half dose. No help, but the next day she was a zombie at adult day care. As someone mentioned above, ACE is sometime prescribed, but I wouldn't use that either. All I've ever heard about Ace here on GT is that it paralyzes the body, but leaves the brain alert, so that the dog is still suffering mentally, but can't get up to escape what it fears.
  6. I'm so very sorry. I'm not here much any more either, and missed your post til today. <3
  7. Check out Moby Sugar on Facebook. His family is involved with Northern Greyhound Adoptions. https://www.facebook.com/blackjacksugar Also, contact VTgreys here on GT.
  8. Oh, Pam. I'm so very, very sorry. I don't get on GT as often as I used to and didn't see this 'til now. Hugs to you and Barkley.
  9. So very sad. I met him in NYC several years ago while he was there with his (ex)step-daughter visiting from the UK. I feel really bad that I didn't keep in contact with him. Good bye my friend.
  10. I'm so very sorry. My condolences to you and your mom.
  11. Thank you, Robin. Thank you everyone. I miss my girl so much, but know that she is with her mom.
  12. I'm so very sorry. I always thought that was a cool set of names for a litter of pups.
  13. Get your dog out of the municipality IMMEDIATELY and contact Robin at the Lexus Project.
  14. I was looking at greyhound-data.com today and realized that someone had updated Aggie's page with a phrase from my post about her. I didn't know if it was someone who saw it here or on CoG, so I want to say "Thank You" in both places. That touched me that someone would do that. I went to greyhound-data to try to look at Aggie's puppies, but wasn't able to access that info without a password. I have no memory of which email I used to create an account years ago; I guess I'll have to try to create a new account. Does anyone know who has editing capabilities so I can also make a change on CoCo's page as well? Thanks again to all who have shown your support. If I didn't do what some folks expected (i.e. let her go before her leg broke), I'm sorry; but even the oncology vet thought the leg was still stable. Donna PS If anyone was FB friends with Carla (at the Carla Sage Benoist account), I recommend that you go and look at all the cool pictures Sage had there of Aggie and her other dogs as well. There are even pics of Aggie with her last litter of puppies.
  15. Thank you, everyone. It seems so surreal that she's gone. It was so quick. I fell so in love with Aggie so quickly. She was such a happy, waggy dog. I miss her so very, very much. I've got to tell Gemma's SIL, Victoria, how jealous I am that Aggie would sleep with her. My bed was too high off the ground and she never got in bed with me like that.
  16. Agnes (Regall Rosario) 11/12/01 - 12/18/13 Our sweet red dog, Miss Aggie Waggie (Agnes, fka Regall Rosario) has gone to the Rainbow Bridge to meet her original mom, Carla Sage Benoist. Agnes was diagnosed with bilateral osteosarcoma in both front legs the week before Dewey. She received radiation (for pain) and bisphosphonate treatments (for pain and bone strengthening), and was a happy, hungry girl right up to her very last day. She suffered a pathological fracture at the primary site this morning in her upper left leg. She was in discomfort, but insisted on standing with her head out the window on her last trip to the vet. We were so blessed to have had this happy, lively girl with us these last 11 months. I will miss her waggy tail, her joyful greetings and her incredibly silly ears. I had hoped we'd make it to her gotcha day on Jan. 8th, but we made the most of the time we had. She loved her momma, and she loved me and Ken so very, very much. I miss you baby girl. Please give your momma a kiss for me, and ask her to send me a poem for you in my dreams, like she wrote for me when CoCo left in 2004. http://greyhound-data.com/d?z=rqx2Jn&d=regal+rosario&x=0&y=0
