mangos_mom Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 Yes, after a few delays due to Christmas, ice storms, and then me selfishly wanting her to be able to be at the North Texas Irish Festival a couple weekends ago, Miss Nedra is finally scheduled to go in for her spay and dental on Thursday. I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed that all goes well for her. I figured that those of you who followed the FWACC hounds' stories would want to know. I'll try to keep you posted tomorrow. I hate that my little princess, aka Cheeky Monkey, is going to have to go through this and be hurting for a little bit. I know it's for the best though. I forgot to ask what time they do surgeries when I dropped her off - this is the group's vet, not my personal vet, so I'm not as familiar with them. She was a good girl this morning, going in the car right away and going into the vet's easily (last two times, she balked). She turned into a little porker, up from her first weight check with me at 59lbs and change to 65 lbs and change! I'd say she's pretty darn healthy at this point, huh? I've begun picking up the bowls if Ru and Del don't eat right away. Of the 3, Nedra is the one who doesn't turn down anything I offer her. Fruit - yum. Veggies - ok. Yogurt - slurp...
