Katy_3131 Posted September 7, 2010 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Yesterday my GF and I had to let one of her pups go to the bridge. We really don't know how old he was, he was a return who's ear tattoos were not readable. I would guess that he was 14. She brought him home thinking he would last about 6 months, he was already having a bit of an issue walking...we got to share a full year and a half with him. He blossomed again in her home, becoming spunky and sweet. We think he had a stroke a few days ago, he just couldn't make the back work and he was knuckling under one paw in the front, he was in pain...we took him in, I cried with him in the truck and told him it was ok and that we loved him, that he was a good boy...Karyne had to go in, I couldn't do it...just thinking about it now I am tearing up.
