    Burd is having surgery tomorrow to remove the mass above his "eyebrow". Its the size of a golfball. Dr. did a FNA and was inconclusive - she said it was more like a gelatin than a solid mass. She is also concerned that the mass may have something to do with his sinus on that side (he does not show any signs of sinus trouble). The biopsy will take about a week.

    Well - the tumor has gotten smaller since the 2 days he's been on the meds. We go back on Thurs so we'll see what the vet says. Thanks!

    Burdette has a tumor on his head and had pre-surgery bloodwork done. These factors came in very high monocytes 1,280 (ref range 0-840) and the nuetrophils 22,528 (ref range 2,060-10,600) His platelets came in low at 163 (ref. range 170-400) so vet put him on prednisone.
