    Last week Sophie had xrays and FNA for a lump on her shoulder. Vet called with results saying it looks like STS. I will make an appt with oncologist for biopsy and we'll see if surgery will help. She is 12 1/2 yrs old but in good health. This after just losing Burdette...

    My beautiful boy went to the bridge today (f...ing cancer). He was my momma's boy and was always following me around or just resting his head on my leg. i will miss him terribly run free my lovey boy.

    Burdette will lay his head on my leg when I'm sitting and close his eyes. He also jumps up and down and whines when I come home. Sophie will come to me when she wants her head and neck scratched and always sleeps next to me in bed.

    Update: There appears to be a tumor in his right upper sinus that has compromised the area above the "eyebrow" and the brain. We'll find out the biopsy result next week to see what kind of cancer it is but the prognosis is not good. The tumor is inoperable. She said he may experience seizures in the future. Needless to say I am upset but he will be spoiled and loved for however long he has.
