It´s been a long time since I posted here but I wanted to share this photo of Rocket. Rocket and Misty are now 7 years old. We adopted Rocket first and then about 6 months later adopted Misty to be a playmate for Rocket. She (Misty) signed the contract but after we brought her home she would not play with him. She likes to bark at him as he plays with the other dogs (pugs) or runs laps of the yard. But she will not play with him. Sigh. This picture captures Rocket´s personality perfectly!

I'd like to add my endorsement of Olweo carrots. When we got Rocket he had frequently had runny poo, and on two occasions it got body. Of course we immediately took him to the vet. $100 worth of meds and putting him on Hill's k/d prescription food seemed to take care of it... for a week. Back to the vet for more meds. When I read about the Olewo carrots here I decided to give them a try. We haven't had any more problema with him. He has had a couple of instances of rumbly tummy (very loud, which was the warning sign that he was about to have his bowl problem) and he chose to skip a meal, but then he is back to eating without any diarrhea. After we had him on the carrots for a while we switched back to normal kibble without a problem. I believe it is the Olewo carrots that have done the trick. Nice solid poops. Thanks for the advice!

Hi everyone! I've been lurking here for a few days and decided I needed to join in. My name is Alan Saylor and my wife is Pam. We adopted an 18 month old "retired" racer from Amazing Greys in Tracy CA last October. I say "retired" because he never raced! lol What a joy he has been. We named him Rocket, and he is the most affectionate dog to ever live with us. Here is his picture catching a little sun on his favorite couch.
