Prayers Requested For X-Rays On Monday

Recommended Posts

Ruby has "aged" a lot over just the past 3 months. Last Sunday she was very hesitant going down the stairs and then that night refused to do them. By Tuesday we saw her be very limpy on her back left when she would first get up, but it seemed to work-itself out as she roamed around. But she does not lie on her left side any more, and is very restless. Saw the vet Thursday, she felt some "swelling" around her hock that does feel like swelling to me, not hard bone... but x-rays on Monday to see what we are dealing with.

I am not freaking out yet, my husband is already very saddened by this.... so prayers please. She is 9.5 and now on some daily anti-inflammatories which did seem to help her be more comfortable last night.

Well all those prayers worked cause Ruby was fine and normal all weekend and both the vet and my husband knew she did not need x-rays this morning. She will continue on some dermaxx for this week and theories were postulated about what the swelling might have been... but we certainly no longer have cancer fears... so thank you all!
