This is not an easy part of the boards to come to, and I'd been avoiding it the last few months in particular, especially the last 2 weeks. I do appreciate the support and it's just helpful to have a place to say 'this hurts'. I'm lucky to have people around me who understand, and a wonderful vet that made things peaceful.
