Not if that is what is making you feel okay. Everyone has a different timeline. I'm not someone who waits either. I personally feel that the best way to honor a hound that has left is to give a home to another hound who is waiting. But that's me. Not everyone is ready right away. Not everyone is ready at the same time. If that's what is calling you, there's nothing wrong with that.
