Guest MorganKonaAlex Posted February 18, 2013 Share Posted February 18, 2013 3 years ago, I heard about Cobb. After racing for 5 years, he waited 2 years for a home. After 15 months in a home, he was being returned because they didn't trust him with the new baby that had arrived. He wasn't doing well back at the kennel with patches of hair falling out. We offfered to foster Cobb to get him back in a home situation. After several months of fostering with no one interested in him, we decided he was already home. Cobb was a character. A high prey drive grey that was known at the kennel for going nuts when they mopped the floor. He loved to play. His favorite toy was his basketball. He also loved his pool. It was amazing the amount of energy he had. He had slowed down quite a bit the last year but was still doing well. What started as a back injury 2 weeks ago, escalated to something else we don't fully understand. His body shutdown and we released him a few hours ago. Good bye my buddy.
