I'm so sorry. Even when you know that's coming, the official diagnosis is STILL like a punch to the stomach. I hope you have lots of good time with him.

:weep:cry1:weep:cry1 I have been thinking of you and Spud all day. I can't believe this is happening. Spud has always been one of my absolute favorite hounds EVER. I am sure I am not the only person here with a massive crush on him.

Sending lots of love your way. :bighug:heart

So sorry to see the test results. We all think of Spud as one of our own hounds. If you're up to it, please post his Elf Photo for those who haven't seen it, and for those of us who love the way he has has always made us laugh with his pictures. Spoil him rotten, and then spoil him a little more. Spoil Miss Sadie too, just because you can.

Feeling like I have more of a purpose. I have some good info and am looking for more as far as pain meds go, alternative meds, and bone support. Now that the shock is wearing off I feel like I need to try something. WIll keep you all posted.

For now, Spud is Spud and my happy goofy boy. For that, I am grateful. WIll try to post some pictures. Generally am working 12-18 hour days so it may be sporadic. Spud and Sadie both send lots of love and thanks for the support!

That is how I felt when I got over the shock of Bruiser's hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. That was almost 6 months ago and I am still in fighting mode. I fully intend for him to be of the elusive 10% that make it past a year and longer. I hope that Spud does as well.
