4-5 vets have examined the xrays, one of whom is a radiologist. General consensus is osteo. Still waiting on blood work but not hopeful at this point.

I'm SO sorry. I'd recommend getting the x-rays to OSU as soon as possible for their evaluation/recommendations. They'll also provide free chemo.

There will be no amputation or chemo. I personally don't believe in amputation for cancer and even if I did, Spud is not a good candidate for it. It's a front leg, he's a big boy, and it's not fair to him. To say I am devastated is the most giant of understatments.

Neyla was 11 when she was diagnosed and we had 6 good months with palliative care. There are others who have gotten much longer. Still hoping for that VF blood work to turn up positive, but if not hoping you have lots of quality time left with your boy.
