His health continued to deteriorate for unknown reasons after a successful splenectomy. So many tests were done – none revealing the problem. Rousty was a very special dog to us. He was our first greyhound who caused us to fall in love with the breed and gave us the desire to learn more about dog racing and get involved with adoption and fostering for our local group. Thank you so much for meeting me somewhere godforsaken on the side of I-20 so I could bring Buddy home. He really has saved my life as I was in very bad shape before he came. He is the sweetest most undemanding heart healer and (unofficial) emotional therapy dog ever. There is no doubt Rousty played a huge part in Buddy coming here, as did you and Clare.
