Hubcitypam Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 My sweet brindle forever foster/dog sitting client went to the bridge in my arms at 11:15. She was a funny dog. I used to joke that if she was a person she'd be a supermodel (she wouldn't eat if anyone was watching) and would take cabs everywhere because she had too many wrecks. I'd tell her that she spent too much time in the "pretty" line in heaven before being born and was shortchanged when she got to the "brains" line. I don't know what I'm going to do without a dog in the closet -- that was her safe place piled with comforters and pillows. Except for the time Poodle and I spent in Lufkin this is the first time in 11 years that there hasn't been a greyhound in my house. Feels very empty.
