robinw
we're off to the vet again at 11:45. in spite of the patch, she seems to be in lots of pain. she's not putting any weight on her back leg (!) and her spine seems a bit twisted. having said that, in spite of seeming too uncomfortable to lie down on a dog bed, she climbed onto the sofa. wish us luck and thanks for putting up with the drama of this. robinw
we're back and i'm not happy. i saw the other vet in the office and apparently nobody bothered to tell me that she has arthritis in her spine (not bad) in spite of the fact that the xray was taken over two weeks ago. i also didn't know about the side effects of the patch. if anything, she's actually better as none of her lymph nodes are swollen now. he sent me home with some appetite stimulants so hopefully things will get better and will settle down. at least visit wasn't very expensive Quote Xavi the galgo and Peter the cat.
