Planning a trip to Ohio? i won't hesitate to go to Ohio if recommended. i'm waiting for direction from my vet plus i'll reply to Dr. Couto's questions. i had completely forgotten that around 1.5 months ago a friend visited with his greyhound and the three of them (his hound, phene and loca) did some heavy duty running. i think that's around when all of this started. i'm such an idiot Quote Xavi the galgo and Peter the cat. HJsM Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 That is really wonderful to hear. Sort of the same thing happened to me. My vet diagnosed my Whippet mix with lung cancer. I then had a specialist (similar to Dr Couto) look at the xray and he said "No..not lung cancer...just years of living!" She went on to live 4 more years (she was 9 at the time) and die from something COMPLETELY unrelated to cancer. I'm wishing the same scenario for you and Loca. Guest Honeysmom Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 I remember when Payton (Otey's brother) had a leg problem and the vet said he had some kind of cancer and Melanie took him to a specialist and he had been misdiagnosed so this is the best news I've heard about Loca and more hopes and prayers for a confirmed misdiagnosis!
