We don't leave our dogs out long, but if they are chill-lazing in the sun, not a problem for a short while. Our yard is locked and 5 foot chain-link. Although, never at night!

Here in Florida it is against the law to leave dogs in vehicles. I never take the dogs to run errands unless they can go inside with me.

Well it is not often that it happens, my dogs have no problems holding it for that long. My suggestion is to talk to your adoption group and consider a dog walker. Also, be prepared to set up a potty area just in case. If the are is used, simply clean it up and move on.

My dogs eat a variety of veg and fruit. I find it very hard to believe that any carrots are natural dewormers. We add Diatomaceous Earth to their feed. And while it has many properties and people make many claims about it, including as a "dewormer", I still worm my dogs on a regular basis.

Yup! It is the parents who allow their children to terrorize dogs and disrespect animals. And of course common sense. Yeah right...

After 3 not-kid friendly greyhounds in one foster home, I would begin to wonder why and what the foster Mom is actually doing and allowing her kids to do! But that's another story... Anyway, ensure your group knows about the toadler in your home. Also, this book is supposed to be also very helpful. It is all about respect for the dog.

YES!! Color CAN make a difference!!! It is not too common that it happens, but I know of a couple of greys and a few other breeds who were white crazy. They were good with every other animal they encountered, but the white furries. So keep it in your mind that it is possible. So I would double check with the adoption group to ensure they realize your cat is white! Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes.
