  1. How about having a short meet and greet at your home before hand. Most dogs are so very social that I find it is rarely a problem. Always nice to have some one near by who can return the favor. Win/Win.
  2. Absolutely beautiful. Such amazingly fantastic animals!
  3. My first grey was a 18 month old, never raced. Besides not wanting to have any thing to do with a crate he was really quite easy. He is 11.5 years old now and is my gem. We spent a lot of time in his early years at a dog park. We went very early when it was quiet and he ran like the wind. So, they are individuals with there own style.
  4. Some dogs like to nest, why would you stop a natural instinct? I understand the damage and need to replace beds but she is making herself feel safe and comfortable. Please do not yell at her for any reason. Greyhounds are very sensitive dogs and need a gentle touch. Perhaps if you tell her quietly to settle down she relax and go back to sleep.

  14. I am so very sorry for your loss. Run free beautiful Sydney.
  15. Dogs always approach each other from the side, not straight on. When she has settled more in your home if people need to approach, have them go to the side of her, do not look directly into their eyes and let them sniff the back of a hand. This is a much more polite greeting for dogs.
  16. I would baby gate him in the bedroom with me at night, no nocturnal wandering. If he really needs to go outside during the night hopefully his movements will wake so you can let him out.
  17. So very sorry for your loss of Milo. Run like the wind sweetie and always remember how much you were loved.
