K-9 Voyager makes fantastic boots, they go over the knee. You will have to order on line. It may take some getting used to, but needed for these kinds of temps. Muk-Luks work also, but do not go as high on the leg, many pet stores carry them. Good luck. I'm in Wi. also, I feel your pain, I have 3 greys and putting 12 boots on 5 times a day is rough. I've used galliprant for Star for 6 months, no issues, but not much relief for LS and arthritis. I'm seeing better results with carprofen (50 mg. 2x) and gabapentin (300 mg. 2x). I have recently started acupuncture, cold laser and chiro in the hopes that I can take her off the carprofen. No GI issues and her mobility is improved.

So, 2 of my hounds were diagnosed with heart murmurs. They did not need to be sedated for the procedure. They were pretty expensive and I was then told that their hearts still looked very good. It made me feel better having it done before a planned dental but I don't think it was really necessary.

I have read that when a pup nips you, you should yip (high pitch) back to them. That is what their littermates do when they are playing too rough. Puppies are so adorable, but a lot of work. I'm sure it will get better and you will do fine.
