I keep boiled eggs available for dinner additions, but only in the summer when I can open the windows. They give Des horrendous gas.

I totally agree with you on finding a more grey savy vet. The first time Desi went under anes (for a dental) we didn't think he was ever going to wake up & his heart started doing that fluttery thing. They spent all afternoon giving him various kinds of "reversal" drugs, and it scared the bejeebers out of me. Turns out the doc gave him way too much sedation. As a newbie grey owner, I trusted her to know what she was doing instead of doing research myself & making her listen. Best wishes to your main man.

This is so cool!!!! I don't know which photo I enjoyed more, the first one of him roaching in the kennel, obviously showing you his "best side" or the "RAWWR!!!" Congratulations, and may Robin be as amused as we are watching you live with the "big puppy."

Shameless weeping here.......Seeing him in his younger days, before his face turned that lovely shade of grey, was a real treat for me. You were blessed to have shared his life......and he, yours.

I'm so very sorry. Ben was not only handsome he was one of those "special" ones. One of those special ones who can draw you in like a fly to honey, and just make you feel glad to be alive & able to enjoy the sweetness.
