Extra hour in bed?

Here in the UK the clocks go back an hour tonight as BST (British Summer Time) ends.

Guess who isn't going to get an extra hour in bed tomorrow morning because Grace has flunked her time telling exams?

Guess who gets the extra hour because a) we turn the clock backwards here in Germany, too and b) the Lazy bunch won't get up before I do. 😁

Poppy has been doing her 'wake-up daddy' call an hour late recently, I'm assuming she's resetting her biological clock early to make sure tomorrow goes well.

An extra hour in bed is overrated anyway. I’m looking forward to spending an extra hour in the rooms I have been spending all my extra hours in this year.

"Tummy time" is what my sister and I call it.  Three cats and two dogs don't give a flip about when the alarms go off.  They operate on Tummy Time.

We change a week later here. Sheba is on tummy time, too.

I'm typically visiting Spain when their time changes. Not this year, sigh...

Mine, dogs and cats both, go by when the sun comes up, or it starts to get light. Lots of fun here in the summer when it starts to get light before 5 a.m. but nice in the winter

Some people think dogs sense time more by their sense of smell.  So maybe just spray some air freshener around to confuse them?

After waking us up at 5.30 GMT, Buddy is sleeping peacefully at our feet (poor boy is sooo tired!) and we are just about to have our third cup of coffee. It’s 8.30am. 

I’m looking for an appropriate emoji but there doesn’t seem to be one with big bags under the eyes.

Nutmeg barked to be let out just after 7.00.a.m....oh, wait, now it’s just after 6.00.a.m. and she expects to go racing off to the end of the garden, barking her head off at any cat that might be in the vicinity! Sorry neighbours!

I delayed breakfast 30 minutes this morning to try to ease into the time change.  Jeter paid me back in advance by throwing up bile on the living room rug about 5 minutes before breakfast was due.

We did the first part of the day on DST. That worked well until late this afternoon. Dinner was AN ENTIRE HOUR LATE!!! Complaints have been filed with the relevant dog and cat protection services.

A week later and Grace has finally adjusted her clock so is now running on GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Unfortunately it's me who is still waking up on BST and I get the look from Grace asking why I'm disturbing her at such an early hour
