jaym1 Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Three weeks ago, my beloved first greyhound, Tempo, died after a battle with osteosarcoma. He was only six. Vicki has now joined my pack of three (me and my two dogs). Full grown at a little over two years old, she is by far the smallest greyhound I have ever seen. She is absolutely tiny, and looks like a whippet, or a borderline Italian greyhound, but she is a firecracker, with boundless energy. She runs the house (and is a little too strong-willed, frankly), even though Rocko weighs in at nearly 80 lbs, and towers over her. I hope that building your new relationship with Vicki brings you lots of happiness. She is one very lucky bijou hound. Good on you for being willing to get back on the horse after what you've been through and give her a loving home - I'm sure she'll reward you in spades. Seeing those photos have really brought a smile to my face today. There's mischief in those eyes of hers! Look forward to hearing about her and Rocko's new adventures.
