Guest StarsMama Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Star went into her kennel on Sunday to take a nap and never woke up. I miss her so much. She was our first and only Greyhound. We adopted her from Dairyland shortly after Star's 3rd birthday. In the deal I got a beautiful, shy, black girl. Star got a strange place to live, a resident Springer, small twin girls, and(even though they read all the books) two people who couldn't have been less ready for the journey of owning such a beautiful, unique and quirky creature. I couldn't have asked for a better last 6 years. I'm just sorry that it didn't last longer. I hope she knew how much she was loved, and what an honor it was to have her our home. I'll miss you Sass.
