4My2Greys
I dropped off Chase this morning for a dental he really needed to have done, but I can't help but worry that something will go wrong. Things didn't start out so well for him when another dog came into the waiting room while we were waiting to go back and talk with the tech. Since being attacked he is terrified of strange dogs. He was so frightened and started trembling and didn't stop until we got him to the back. Any good and calming thoughts for my dear boy would be so appreciated. I know exactly what you mean, though - I worry, too, when Merlin goes in. Surprisingly I didn't worry at all with Sagan, that dog is a total queen but he is built like an ox. No anesthesia worries. Hoping your boy is fine and dandy! Susan, there was nothing "regular" about your Kramer. It's easy to worry when it's your best friend your talking about. I took the day off too. I'm about to call and see if I can't find out something. I worry about him being in recovery with other dogs. He's so frightened by them now. queenwinniesmom
Oh, I always worry too! When I worked for a vet in Florida, he wouldn't let me assist when he was doing anything on my own cats or dogs. I remember when my heart cat, Daphne, was having surgery, I hovered nervously in the background, fidgeting, and getting on everyone's nerves. My boss finally looked at me in exasperation and said, "Nancy, why you don't go somewhere else?" He was Cuban, and had that charming accent. So now when I'm not wanted, it's "Why you don't go somewhere else?" Seriously, sending lots of good thoughts to sweet Chase. Let us know how he's doing. 4My2Greys
Chase and I would like to thank everyone for their good thoughts. He had horrible looking teeth going in, but no extractions were necessary and they cleaned up really nicely. The vet tech kept him with her the entire time he was there to keep an eye on him. Bumper, Chase says he hopes your feeling better.

4My2Greys
Thank you everyone for checking back up on Chase . My vet and the tech did such a nice job and took such great care of him. What was nice too was the bill when I picked him up. Total bill was $164 for bloodwork, dental and microchip. I got 20% off on his dental for scheduling it in February during Dental Health month.
