kikibean Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 I can't believe I'm having to write this so soon, I thought he'd live forever. We lost Rocky on Sat morning to hemangio. Totally unexpected and we're in shock still. I feel like my heart is broken. I don't know how I'm going to get from day to day. I got Rocky as a re-po. He'd been adopted for a couple of months but they were letting him run loose. I had to pull him out of the pound. Supposedly he was jumping out their window. Oddly enough, he never jumped out a window at our house. He was the best dog anyone could ever ask for. He was my best friend. Everyone who ever met Rocky loved him. I wish I could write a wonderful tribute to him, but my head is foggy and the words won't come. Rocky, there will never be another like you. What you said about Rocky came from deep within your heart, it was perfect and beautiful and told me so much about the relationship you two shared. Someone once told me that missing someone is a way of keeping them with us, even when they are not. I hope you can find a bit of comfort in that. I am so very, very sorry for your loss.
