RileysLegacy Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 My mom just let me know that her greyhound, Nick, will be going to the bridge today. He is 12.5 and he is no longer able to live a happy and comfortable life. He's been having back end issues for a couple of years, and when I saw him last summer he was really struggling with the heat. She said there is no way he could make it through another hot summer Nick has been a part of my family for 10 years. He is huge, and just the sweetest, dopiest greyhound. All he wanted from life was love, food and a comfy bed, and he was happy. I'm really going to miss seeing him when I go home to visit. My mom and her BF love him to death, and they have an iggy named Paris who is going to really miss his big brother. :heart a very old picture of Nick & Riley And a more recent one Such a sweet old man Love you Nicky, say hi to Ry for me.
