Oh no! :cry1 I'm just now seeing all of this with Penny! We had our own crisis this past week too. :(

 

We'll be thinking about you and Penny. I hope she is able to stay strong and rally back. Sounds like they are taking care of her at Tufts. I'll keep checking in for updates. :goodluck Are the UTI issues under control now?

Update: Penny's WBC count went from 400 on Sunday to 600 yesterday and

now it's at 2200! She is getting the TPN line placed today for nutrition.

The doctors say she's not out of the woods yet, but I can see her peeking

out! One of the doctors said she'll be taking her for a walk on the grounds

of the hospital today, since she perks up so much when she is outside.

I'm so happy, I hope and pray that this upward swing in her health continues.
