All of my cards went into the mail today!

I know someone who always has multiple girlies. I really depends on the dogs.

Our dog yard is double shredded wood mulch, so pick up is easy. I used poop bags in the yard, so the garbage can that it is placed in, basically stays clean. I change the bag every week, when I take the garbage out to the curb. For walks, I used plastic t-shirt bags. All of our dogs poop right into the bag. Sometimes people applaud, but I am good neighbor. I just place the bag under the dog when they squat. Once in a while, I get surprised and am not ready, but you pretty much know your dog's body language. I put all those bags in a sealed garbage can next to the robo cans and put those bags out with the garbage, too. Seems like I have a lot of garbage cans, doesn't it?

I got one card so far and one from a neighbor. The neighbor is always the first card we receive. I am hoping to get our cards printed tomorrow.

Thank you for the huge box that arrived this afternoon. I have read your card and will follow instructions as given. It's obvious that you put a lot of thought into the gift. We will open a package each night of Hanukkah as per your directions. I am looking forward to the fun! Thank you so much from Odin and me.

We had fries this week; I just didn't know they were in memory of Rocket!

We have designed our card. We have to get it printed. I already purchased holiday stamps.

I, too, remember you well Tammy and I know you were a Houndtime Clocks customer. While we are being nostalgic; the Greyhound L was my bible. I would print it out all day long, and read it on the way home on the commuter bus. Secret Pals numbered over 100. Luckily for us, the local groups are still functioning. We are down to one boy. I would suggest that if you are interested in adopting another greyhound to contact Greyhound Angels in New Jersey. They have an on-site kennel and get dogs on a regular basis from West Virginia. They do adopt out of the area, but you are hardly out of the area. We live so close to Reach the Beach so that is the one event that we attend. We wish you a wonderful holiday season.

I keep mine buckled and just slip it over the dog's head. I only take it to the vet with us.

Ooops. My boy's name is Odin. Though Otis is a nice name, it's not his. We celebrate Hanukkah, but, we don't need a harmonica. He does like treats, but the kind we eat is made in America. Stuffies are best probably more than the rest. He like to throw and toss and show them he's boss. We have blankets galore, so we don't need more. Really, anything you choose, we are sure to adore. Is this enough to make it a go? If not, just let us know.

I am so sad and sorry to read this post. Take comfort in knowing that your boy is at peace and pain free. He's running once again with the wind.

Odin can hear a cheese wrapper from anywhere in the house.

Our vet always said: Better a day too early than a day too late. It is a painful decision, I know. You are his best friend and he looks to you to give him the gift to be pain free. I am so sorry. G-d bless.

Odin went to the vet today for his Lymes vaccine. In addition, he had a senior blood panel and an injection into his shoulder because he has been limping for more than two years. He has been x-rayed twice and it shows some slight arthritis. The injection was Polyglycan-SA. (Hyaluronic Acid+Chondroitin sulfates C4 & C6 + N-acetyl-D glucosamine). Our veterinarian said some dogs get a shot once a month, some twice a year and some just once a year. He also takes carprofen. I hope it gives him some relief.

I am so sorry for the loss of Daphne.

One of our dogs did that one year with lawn reindeer with the bobbing heads.
