  1. Thank you Mary Pat for putting this together, again, this year.
  2. We opened the last gift today. Thank you for the purse and I am holding off on the stuffy ball as Odin is a little under the weather today. Thank you for all of the gifts and how thoughtful you are. Irene and Odin
  3. #3 is an apple scented candle.
  4. Yah! Tonight I opened present #2 and it is Mary Pat's blueberry jam. Last time she was our Secret Santa, she sent some preserves, too.
  5. Yep. Package #1 is a blue iced dog biscuit. He will get it tonight as his good night treat. Thanks. Update tomorrow.
  6. I get to open present #1 tonight!
  7. I would ask to borrow the muzzles until you can get your own. It's an important tool for several reasons: to separate and keep them from harming each other right now, to keep from licking an injury or wound, to keep from eating nasties outside and I am sure that there are more. Everything is too new right now to take chances. They are used to muzzles and will be fine if they wear them for a while. Better safe than sorry.
  8. It's nice that you have a town center that you can walk to.
  9. Our friends Carol Back and Mark Turner sent us a Holiday package. Mostly special items for Odin; treats and a Hanukkah bow tie! We got a fleece Hanukkah throw. Something I never saw before. Greyhound friends are the best! I have trouble posting photos, so follow the link to see Odin in his bow tie. He was less than thrilled to pose for the photo. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=6456226157726643&set=a.221277954554859
  10. We have had some pretty big hedge hogs here. Two years ago (I think), Secret Santa sent of blue, grunting hedgie that was Odin's favorite. He loved it so much, that, I had to keep sewing it. It finally left for the rainbow bridge about two weeks ago minus a lot of stuffing.
  11. Happiest of birthdays to roo from Flying Odin in lower Delaware. Love the coat!
  12. I am so sad and sorry to read this news. Rest well Fiona.
  13. All of my cards went into the mail today!
  14. I know someone who always has multiple girlies. I really depends on the dogs.
  15. Our dog yard is double shredded wood mulch, so pick up is easy. I used poop bags in the yard, so the garbage can that it is placed in, basically stays clean. I change the bag every week, when I take the garbage out to the curb. For walks, I used plastic t-shirt bags. All of our dogs poop right into the bag. Sometimes people applaud, but I am good neighbor. I just place the bag under the dog when they squat. Once in a while, I get surprised and am not ready, but you pretty much know your dog's body language. I put all those bags in a sealed garbage can next to the robo cans and put those bags out with the garbage, too. Seems like I have a lot of garbage cans, doesn't it?
  16. I got one card so far and one from a neighbor. The neighbor is always the first card we receive. I am hoping to get our cards printed tomorrow.
  17. Thank you for the huge box that arrived this afternoon. I have read your card and will follow instructions as given. It's obvious that you put a lot of thought into the gift. We will open a package each night of Hanukkah as per your directions. I am looking forward to the fun! Thank you so much from Odin and me.
