  1. I am hoping we're finally rid of them here. Need to get another clear test on both sibs.
  2. Interesting article: https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-greyhound-racing-drove-the-evolution-of-a-superparasite/
  3. Check out ToadBriar on Etsy. I don't see it now, but I would swear they have had one before. ETA: Found one, and they're even in the US! https://www.etsy.com/listing/71062541/greyhound-dog-portrait-print-dog-art
  4. I should have credited the artists so you can look: AlmostAnAngel66 (Sweep's) Dawn Barker (Willa's) JulieBrunnArt (Doolin's) These Etsy shops are great too: AmySpittleArt (A close runner-up for Doolin's) SaarikoskiArt TanjaOnTheWall Happy spending shopping!
  5. Whoa, did you have to roll that up to get it back inside?!
  6. I have a tradition of buying or making portraits of my pets—not commissioned pieces, just art that reminds me of them. Willa's arrived this weekend. Nailed it! Here's Doolin's (no side by side, but trust me that this is a view I see often over the kitchen counter). And the girly who started it all.
  7. Happy Gotcha Day, handsome Logan! Looking like Doolin in that second pic.
  8. She is beautiful! Thank you for looking out for her. P.S. I'd drive a leg of a GUR if someone farther north were interested.
  9. Thank you for the birthday wishes, everyone! The weather did not cooperate at all yesterday, so we tried another photoshoot today. Joint portraits are hard, y'all. First we have Willa using her brother's face to try to take her crown off. * Doolin's tongue or deli meat? Then I enlist the help of their papa and a squeaky toy to get them to look at the camera. Doolin, over here. Sigh. Good enough!
  10. And can you believe Mother Nature had the audacity to rain on their parade? We'll try for a joint portrait later today when it's supposed to clear up, but for now here are the pics from their birthday crown "fitting" last weekend.
  11. Happy birthday, beautiful LaVida! I hope you got French fries AND ice cream.
  12. Honestly I would keep doing what you're doing instead of introducing new variables. It's clearly agreeing with her!
  13. Keepin' an eye on that wascally wabbit.
  14. Well, even though his smeller's knot too impressive, I am very glad to hear Milo's feeling good again. (And also glad it's just cheese that gets lost and knot any parts of his victims from the yard.) I have, I have! It's really alarming when it's string cheese.
