Taylor, almost 8 months after diagnosis for Osteo, and almost 5 months after amputation. He loves/demands rides and walks 2-3 times a day, and he runs just as fast on 3 legs as on 4 legs. Ask the squirrels in the back yard

Taylor was on Tramadol before amputation, and for 2 weeks after, then slowly reducing the dosage over a week. He panted a bit more when he was on it, but it controlled his pain. ​Check with your surgeon Monday morning and see what they suggest.

It's been 6 months and 2 weeks since diagnosis with Osteo, and 3 months since amputation. I recently flew to Connecticut for a week to catch up with family and friends, and the hounds stayed with a couple and their 4 greyhounds. They said Taylor was always running around the back yard with the other dogs. He's a happy boy. This evening, I heard snoring and looked in back of me, and saw this (2 pics):
