I find that even though my pups aren't snugglers, they spend time in the same room, so I'm assuming they like to be around each other. I notice they provide their own entertainment with each other at times.

Broken toe maybe?

It could be many different things, but if it's a hard surface that's bothering him, it could be a corn. Have you checked his paws carefully to see if he cut himself or has something lodged in it? Could he have hurt himself running...perhaps a soft tissue injury? Limping is everyone's nemesis, but there can be many reasons. Of course if it persists, you'll want your vet to check it out.

Our 3 pups get 2 cups 2 times/day. Brooke is 60, Ben is 61 and Katie is 68 lbs. They get few treats. They would lose weight on vomit bile if I fed them less. Perhaps you could offer a bit more before bed so he doesn't wake up too hungry. If he gains weight then you'd have to cut back assuming he's at a good weight now. Ben and Brooke are fine, but we feed Katie a bit before bedtime or she's have the gurglies next morning for sure. It's about trying things to see what works best.
