You were the cutest kitten I've ever seen with the white upper lip and the black chin and the white stripe down your back. You loved and slept with every dog and other cats we brought into this house. You became very bonded to all of them. Then, early this year, I lost them all to cancer. You were the only fur kid left. Right after, you, too, were found to have a cancerous lump which we removed in March. Together we grieved and felt the loss of our companions. You followed me everywhere and slept on my side of the bed everynight. You would wrap your front legs around my head and rest your chin on my face and purr until we both fell asleep. You greeted me at the door everytime I came home. We leaned on each other during this time of loss and sadness. When you started vomiting the vet confirmed your cancer had returned internally with the news that you didn't have much time left. Your last day with us was spend outside watching the birds and enjoying the sunshine. I will never forget you and you are so greatly missed. The house here is so empty now but at least I know you are not alone. Blackie, Walter, Joey and Cubby were all there waiting for you at the bridge.
