I had no idea it was also unexpected for you, and that you weren't with him. I know you did everything you could for him, what a heartbreaking decision to have to make from afar - it shows your absolute selflessness and love for him. I'm so sorry. Thank you Jen. I wish more than anything I could have been there, but it wouldn't have been fair to keep him alive just for me. I won't be back until Sunday night & he was on oxygen & bleeding from his nose. It's heartbreaking under normal circumstances but when you can't be there, it's even harder. Hope you can find some peace knowing he had people there to support him.
