Have to get him a harness and he has some high dollar meds. To top it off Barkley has a bacterial problem on his leg, but the wipe things seem to be helping. Hubcitypam Posted January 31, 2012 Author Share Posted January 31, 2012 Poodle is becoming more and more sullen and withdrawn every day. I don't know if it is losing Girl, Buddy coming, diabetes issues,his trachea or a combo of all four. He is just a shell of himself and his eyes are vacant. I think I will take him in for glucose check and bloodwork tomorrow. When Girl left I told the vet that Poodle would follow soon after and it looks like that is the case. I will tell the groomer about the loop but in my heart I don't think he'll make another grooming appointment. He is just shutting down. Meanwhile Barkley the dog I didn't want is carrying the weight of this household on his sturdy terrier shoulders. He cleans Buddy and Poodles ears, gives me kisses, tries to teach Buddy the dog door and is a snuggle bunny for us all. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
